  6. I know there are a few painters that paint from photos to make them look like the person was in an 18th century portrait or in what ever scenery . But again I don't know who it is here ! Looking forward to finding out .

  8. It is Pocahantes. This is the only known portrait of her. It was of her when she was in England. I believe she died soon after. She was very young at her death---only about 22 or so...

  24. Thank you everyone, I appreciate very much you all joining in. I was impressed at how many of you knew the answer when I read your comments. I am not sure I would have known if I had not visited Jamestown and saw her portrait. However, this is what I love about blogging, it makes me so curious and I love learning every day.
