Random Photo - Ribbit!

I found this handsome fellow and his many relatives at Huntley Meadows the other day.  They were all enjoying a great mud bath.

Over the following week and into the next, I am going to be having a busier spell than normal.  As I monitor all comments it may take me a while to get to yours to publish them, so please don't think they have gotten lost in cyber space.  It is just me taking longer than usual getting to them.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank you all for visiting and for leaving all those comments from day to day.  I enjoy reading them so very much.

There is nothing quite like it for cooling the blood.

  5. Much greener than our frogs! An emerald frog, handsome enough in his own right not to need to harbour a prince

  6. Spelndid shot! I heard lots of frogs last week, but ours seem to be the masters of concealment.

Glad you liked my wordy post on Indonesia.

  7. Boy, ddl I wish it was nice weather and I could get out to the store for my pot of booyah. I am still thinking about it. Our frogs are still out and about, but this year have been very quiet compared to years past. I wish they get their voices going. I love that sound. Have a good week.

  10. A neighbour spotted a frog at her place recently so I've been on the lookout, hoping I will find one, too. They haven't been seen around here for years. Here's hoping they will make a return.

  11. Of course, we do like frogs (and penguins too) so I really liked this photo post, Denise. And we all do know how life can take priority over on-line social activities. Hope you get done all that you want to accomplish.
