TODAY'S FLOWERS #360 - August 22nd, 2015

These were taken at the Norfolk Botanical Garden a while back.  I was in the Japanese Garden admiring the lotus blossoms.

Luiz Santilli Jnr originally created Today's Flowers and I am now its host.

Today's Flowers' home page can be found here.

  1. So that's what Lotus blossom actually looks like. One hears the name far more often than one sees photographs.

  2. I had no idea the lotus was so pretty. I like the underside of the leaf, most unusual.

  3. Dear Denise,
Lotus are such beautiful flowers and you have captured them so wonderfully.
The last picture is funny, because the capsule looks a little bit like a little sweet monster with lots of eyes which watch us :)

Thanks for hosting this wonderful meme!!!
I hope you can enjoy your weekend!!!
    Lots of love
    Katrin :)

  6. Those lotuses are beautiful. Love that pink hue against the green leaves.

Love your photos of the sheep, also.

  7. Every time you show photos from the Norfolk Botanic Garden, I think, I must visit. Now that I have two granddaughters living there and the train runs down that way, I wonder?

  9. Pretty! They make me think of Wild Marshmallow (the flower, not the food).

  10. These are gorgeous Denise!
I never saw them before I
    believe :)) Except for the
    last picture - I think I
    saw something like that
    dried for home decoration.

    Have a beautiful weekend!
