TODAY'S FLOWERS #257

I mentioned before in one of my posts how taken I was with the wildflowers that I saw growing out of the old stone walls  in England.  We found these in Cockington, another small village not so far away from where I used to live before moving to America 40 years ago.

Luiz Santilli Jnr created Today's Flowers.  He occasionally pops in to say hello, so "Hello Luiz and thank you!"

Today's Flowers' home page can be found here.

I am also linking with Judith's Mosaic Monday here.

Oh my gosh! This is so cool. I love wildflowers but wildflowers on a wall are even more amazing.

Beautiful !

Those flowers are extremely versatile but they do seem to like rocky areas. I had some on a rockery - they were prolific but I liked them. Hope you have a good weekend.

There is something so mystical to me about old stone/rock walls! You add pretty little daisy's like that, and wow! Thanks for sharing!

I wonder how they manage to find nutrients in a stone wall, it just shows how tough and adaptable these frail-looking plants actually are.

I wonder how the flowers got on the wall in the first place. Birds, maybe?

The little wall daisies look a lot like Erigeron I saw in California a lot. They faded to different colors too, The walls and flowers are enchanting. I keep wanting to grow similar flowers but the ones I tried got very tall and lanky instead.

The wildflowers sure add some colour and interest to an otherwise boring stone wall. I wonder if someone inserted the seeds to create this beauty.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Denise.
