SKYWATCH FRIDAY - Friday, August 6th, 2015 Edition

Not my photos.  They were taken by Gregg when he was walking along the beach the other day.

A horseshoe crab which always reminds me of something very prehistoric.

  13. It does look quite prehistoric, or otherworldly. A lot of marine life has that sensibility.

  15. The Horseshoe crabs are living fossils. There are 12 geological periods and they came to be in the third. Dinosaurs didn't emerge until the 8th, and vanished in the 10th
