GOOD FENCES

This barn and the silo were found on another ride out in the Virginia countryside last March.

I couldn't decide which photos to share so I'm posting all of them.

were the red and blue reflectors all around the fence or just on the corner?

it's a pretty place. i like the reflectors on the fence curve - hope it keeps drivers away! :)

Dearest Denise,

Thank you so much for sharing these photos of the barn and silo. I don't often get to see this living in a city like Montreal....unless I go further out where there are a few farms, so then I get to see some horses, cows, pigs, goats and barns. :)

The last one appeals to me the most. Quite a solid looking barn!

This is a lovely barn! I wonder why they have those reflectors? So that a runaway tractor won't plow into their fence maybe...

Now that's a first where you see reflectors on the fence.

Very nice barn and fence, Denise.
What is the blue reflector for, I wonder!
I like the open wide countryside and the your photos that provide those great views.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)

So great to see a scene so different to anything you'd see in Australia and those wooden fences really are quite spectacular.
Strange to have so many reflectors on the fence or is it?
Lovely pictures and thank you so much for sharing.

Gorgeous - and I love those reflectors.

Its spoilt by the modern day reflectors. Without them, you could step back in time. Great Photos.

Dearest Denise; That IS a increasingly huge place with fence ♪ Yes, The reddish reflections are really pretty which I always wish to try and no success p:-)

I'm wondering if there's a reason for the red on top, blue on bottom reflectors. They must mean something.

Beautiful! That scene could have been shot here in NW Wisconsin. Looks so much the same, and I love it! :-)

Such a pretty barn!

That barn is nicely kept up. Those reflectors must be very useful to help visitors find the place at night.

Hi Denise! Oh to be standing there! The sky is so vividly blue! I loved seeing all your pictures! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful barn and the perfect farm fence!

That looks like my Dad's old barn except he talked my step mother into painting it red. She said she almost divorced him while they were working on it. Great photos.

Sometimes when you can't decide which then you decide all and in this case it works.

Beautiful farm country. You really do live in the most remarkable state.

Love them all- especially the close ups of the barn- so pretty. I wish I didn't have to drive to another state to see beautiful old barns like this. I see more of the old metal siding ones around here...which I like..but still- you have gorgeous country where you are.
