TODAY'S FLOWERS # 343

I have enjoyed all the spring flowers especially this year.

Luiz Santilli Jnr created Today's Flowers and asked me a few years ago to take over his role as host.  I was very happy to do so.  He occasionally pops in to say hello, so "Hello Luiz and thank you!"

Today's Flowers' home page can be found here.

  8. Oh yes Denise, I also enjoy the spring flowers so, so much! It's such a wonderful time, which gives me always hope and light...
Your pretty pictures of all these beautiful coloured tulips, hyacinths and all the other tiny flowers are a pleasure for me, too!!!
Unfortunately the blossoms of my tulips, which live between blue grape hyacinths on my windowsill are not coming out this year...Only one tiny flower. I will try it once again with old varieties...Maybe they will bloom in the
next years a little bit better...

    Enjoy a wonderful weekend :)

  10. These are so lovely Denise. The dark purple -- almost black -- is one I've never seen before (and I haven't actually seen any tulip growing now for years). Thank you for the memories and for the beautiful pictures. And as always for hosting.

  14. Hi Denise, Your flowers are beautiful. I don't see that deep purple so often ... it is gorgeous. Thank you for all your kind comments on my blog. Yesterday you mentioned Mt. St. Helens. I recall some bumper sticker ... "Don't come to Mt St Helens ... It will come to you!" :-) Have a fine weekend!
