TODAY'S FLOWERS #340

How wonderful it was to walk among Spring flowers again.  We were at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, Virginia.

Luiz Santilli Jnr created Today's Flowers and asked me a few years ago to take over his role as host.  I was very happy to do so.  He occasionally pops in to say hello, so "Hello Luiz and thank you!"

Today's Flowers' home page can be found here.

Beautiful spring flowers!
I often surprised, that in the States are all the familiar for me cities once more (of course, I know, why that is - )
Easter Greetings from far away :-)

I especially love the daffodils, so pretty. Every year our local council plant daffodil bulbs on roadsides. It is always a treat to see them burst into flower, but this year as soon as they flowered people started to pick them. Some hooligans just for the hell of it so they could throw them on the road and some folk to brighten their homes. Such a waste of ratepayers money!

Be still my heart! The only daffodils I see are in my archives. I love all these pictures .... so beautiful, so spring!!

Thank you for hosting. I linked from my IPAD as we are away for few days and I couldn't get the picture to upload (download? whatever?). I'm glad the generic linky was available so at least I could join the party.

Glad you are back.

What an abundance of beauty Denise! I am watching snowflakes flutter to the earth like tiny white butterflies at the moment. Spring takes its time here in NH, I'm so happy to have blossoms on my windowsill.

Daffodils always reminds me of William Wordsworth..your photograph of the beautiful daffodils are the perfect answer how the poet was able to write such a beautiful poem on them..
