GONE FISHING

A bird I have shared before, the Green Heron.

This is a repeat but it goes with the one above.

I am linking with Anni's Bird D'Pot, Michelle's Nature Notes and Stewart's Wild Bird Wednesday.

Thank you Anni, Michelle and Stewart for these very enjoyable memes.

  4. Wow, you captured him just as he was diving! We have seen the blue, but never the green.I think they are very secretive.

  5. In te UK we are used to the tall, long necked grey heron and little egret, and thus this bird, and the other squat herons like the night heron and the squacco heron look bloody weird to us!

  13. His legs are much shorter than many of the other herons. If I've ever seen one, I didn't recognize it!

    Have a great week.
