I love the colours in this, Denise!
Beautiful shimmering...nature's jewels! Do you know what they are?
Look at that glorious sunshine and those red berries.
Bright and beautiful.
Pretty shot of the berries, Denise. And I love the bokeh! Have a happy day!
I've had to log off and back on 3 times before I could open the comments. Not sure why that happens and with my lack of computer knowledge I just hope for the best.I just wanted to say what a beautiful photograph this and I feel I should know what the plant is but I don't so hopefully you will supply an answer. I am not sure that it is something that grows in Australia.
Yes your shot, like mine on my post today, would brighten up any day.
Spring is in the air :)
really beautiful and love the bokeh background..
Your blog photos are gorgeous. That soup you made looks delicious. I don't know where I can buy a chunk of cheese like that, so will have to use the Kraft brand in the green bottle. Lol.
Hi, Denise...we are seeing a lot of these bushes now, and I think they are so pretty.
i LOVE the bokeh that mimics the circular berries! beautiful shot!
That's mighty pretty!! Is that a Brazilian Pepper?
Nandina or Heavenly Bamboo. Considered an invasive species. Native birds don't eat the berries, alas. But its awfully pretty.
A most pretty, and stunning random shot!
I forgot to ask are those edible berries, do you know?
Lovely. I like your header!
Enjoy your blog break -- hope it's for a fun reason. See you when you come back.
Just a lovely photo :)

Hope all is well and that your break is for some rest and relaxing, Denise.
Hi Denise, I love this kind of photo ... take them myself when out and around on a walk. The light and composition are just perfect. Hope your break goes well ... take good care. John
