I'm back....

sort of.   It will take me a while but I will start slow and return visits from my last couple of posts. Instead of my usual Monday recipe post, I thought today I would share photos I took of a few sparrows I was watching while sitting in the passenger seat at our local supermarket.  Cute little things and no matter what kind of birds they are I always find them entertaining, and very relaxing.

I found this quote from Dr. Seuss,  a lovely one to end a post.

"Life is too short to wake up
In the morning with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right,
Forgive the ones who don't,
And believe that everything
Happens for a reason.
If you get the chance, take it.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said it would be easy,
They just promised it would be worth it."

Dr. Seuss was a very smart and wise man.

  18. Welcome back, Denise.

I'm muddled now. At first I thought the birds were sparrows but then I saw the beaks and decided they looked more like Finch beaks, yet the plumage told me otherwise.

  23. Welcome back. Missed you and was happy to see your blog pop on on Feedly! . I do take blog-breaks every once in a while and I know it is hard to get back in the groove.

Those little guys are doing a good job enforcing those no parking rules -- watching from on top of the signs for any scofflaws!
