Sharing....

I am bouncing over to Devon today. Wherever I go I like to pick up a postcard or two even when I go back home.  I bought these lovely ones when I was in England last summer.

These are very pretty and very unique postcards, Denise. I also used to collect them from travels, but now rely on photos and memories. Do you put your pistcards in books or do you use then to send notes to family & friends?

hi denise....when the hubs and i go away, we each purchase a postcard, write as much as we can about our trip and then, i mail mine to him, he to me. we always mail them from wherever we are so they are postmarked from the area we visited. shortly after returning home, we receive them in the mail and read what we wrote to each other. we always forget they are coming, it's so fun and a great souvenir.

these are really great, i like the colors!!!

I like the first postcard. For a while, way back, I used to collect postcards instead of taking pictures.

Lovely postcards and I assume that the illustrations are based on a real Devon scene. Even if they're not they're still very attractive. I like to buy postcards from the places I visit and unusual ones like yours when writing and sending a note to someone.

Beautiful and always nice to have extra ones handy to use.

I used to send photographs as a post card. I rarely print them now.

I like these sunny postcards – lovely to look at in winter. I also purchase postcards wherever I go. I also have a large amount of vintage postcards and often try to include them in my posts. People don’t send as many postcards now with email, and iphone and it is a shame – you can keep them for a long time and look at them even when the computer does not work!

My mother spent a lot of time in Devon as a child. I always pay attention to its many beauties when it appears on the television screen - and loved these postcards. Thank you.

I just love that first one...love the 'beach houses,' too. I actually think I have seen a quilt of a scene similar to this. And love that group of sailboats in that last one...

Those are very artistic postcards! It would be neat if you could enlarge and frame them for your wall.
