GOOD FENCES

I haven't been out in the cold this week to take any good fence photos, so I am relying more and more on ones I find in my archives.  This is a drive-by photo of a pretty house when we were on holiday in Norway.  I was quite taken with the homes out there, always so interesting to see different styles of architecture from country to country.  I think this one would fit in very nicely over here, especially with that pretty picket fence.

There is a bird feeder hanging from a tree branch on the right of the photo.  A fellow bird lover resides in that pretty home.  Hello fellow bird lover, thank you for letting me share your pretty home.

You can click on the name, The Run*A*Round Ranch Report, to see other Good Fences participants.

Thank you Theresa for hosting this fun meme.

I'm very taken with those little diamond-shaped windows - very unusual. Painting picket fences is no fun at all!

I love Norwegian houses. My grandmother was born in the far north of the country and my distant cousins all live in great houses on the sea.

Like you, we visited Norway during the summer solstice. I don't think I could manage all the darkness of winter.

everytime I see a fence like that I think of Tom Sawyer tricking his friends in painting the fence for him.

The house and the fence is like we have in Finland.
So I have to like this :)

I don't know what it is about white picket fences that always make you think of home. We had a picket fence in Chicago. None here in Hawaii though.

I worked in Norway for most of the 1980s. Their wooden houses were always photogenic. I shall have to search my srchives to see if I can find some fences there.

I love the accent colors on this house - the red and blue around the windows and doors. Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
