SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Coming home last Sunday I noticed a criss-cross of contrails in the sky.  It was a busy day up there.  I couldn't help but think that a lot of people must have been making their way home after Thanksgiving, including several members of our family.

  14. The first is my favorite. Are you anywhere near a military airport? It almost looks like they might have been flying in formation to leave those.

  25. Lots of post-TG sky traffic there. We flew the day after the holiday from Eugene to Denver (a quiet and cheaper day to travel; most people stayed over until Sunday I think!)

Wanted to thank you for the recent food posts and links to two excellent sites! I'll be using those -- needing some inspiration as we restock our Florida kitchen.

  26. Those contrails make suck great photos. We don't get them here. Firstly, only fertiliser topdressing planes pass overhead but I notice them further south. I think the upper air temperature must have something to do with their appearance.
