Beautiful...and true. I love being in nature, it is so soothing and unpretentious.
Lovely shot and an apt quote.
Yes, I sometimes feel like that. There was a small patch of woodland where I used to hang out when I was a child so I guess it started from there.
This is the kind of wood I love to walk in. Lovely light in the shot.
This looks like a track I'd love to walk myself.
Glorious. Thank you.
Whenever I see a path I wonder what lies around the bend.
Looks like a lovely place for a walk in the woods. Thanks for sharing the quote! Have a happy Tuesday!
John Muir. Love his books, especially A Thousand Mile Walk to the Gulf. Required reading in our family.
Very neat path to be following through the woods, but not much for escaping if one needed to with those tall trunks.
so beautiful and I agree with Mr. Muir 100 percent
Random and lovely. There is something comforting about woodland paths and surprising, as one never knows what is around the bend. The song Teddy Bear Picnic come to mind. :)

I would love to walk along that path with my grand-daughter and her imagination. It looks magical.
Muir is so right. No matter where I wonder, nature is always home. Cute pic of the woods, and I like the running goats in the header!

I love the way the tree shadows fall across the path!
I could get lost on that beautiful path and be happy about it! Wonderful.
Hioe that yiu and Gregg took the time to explore where the path led...appropriate quote as well.
Very pretty. I read one of John Muir's books some years ago and it was remarkable.
