Beautiful shades of pink. Happy memories (we didn't see a single peony in Alaska this year and the ones here were just budding when we were here earlier (and gone now of course). Thank you for sharing them.

Hi Denise. Peonies are so pretty and feminine. I find them almost more lovely than roses and that's saying something.

The close-up of the flower is amazing.

Well the flowers are fading fast here. The knockout roses hang on for a long time.

Hi Denise, i love that macro shot, so clear and vivid. Your winter dissipates all your flowers, at least during our dry season we still have some flowers outside, and they are very hot, as in reds and orange.

Beautiful peonies, they really make me wish for spring, it will be a long winter. But I will start growing new plants under lights soon for next year which will be fun.

Hi Denise, these flowers are beautiful . . . were they from your garden? I especially like the macro shot . . . great photo:)

Funny, only yesterday I was looking at peonies in the flower catalogue. If I want them next May, I will have to plant them now. My favorite is Eleanor Roosevelt or Sarah Bernhardt. Unfortunately, if we get a hot spell in May they are toast. Rain also destroys them. And we get downpours get rain around here.

Denise, I love peonies! I have a few varieties in my garden. They are so beautiful and so easy to grow. I like the old fashioned ones the best because they have the best fragrance. Your photos are gorgeous. Also, thank you for featuring my flowers this week. Christa
