The Old Used Book Store in Manassas and Happy Halloween

This is my all-time favorite bookstore in Old Town Manassas, not only for the great selection of books they have, but for all the wonderful knickknacks that are in every part of the store.

I treated myself to the book in the photo below.  I'll share it again in another post.

If you are celebrating Halloween, please have a happy and safe one. We will be handing out the candy tonight.  Hopefully we won't run out.

Love Love the antiques in there and the very smart crafty idea of turning books into pumpkins. ♥

I shouldn't run out of candy tonight, Got a whole bunch in a bowl of candy I don't like it, and a whole bag of stuff I do like.

I love any bookstore, but this one seems to specialize in atmosphere! The cobwebby ghost is great!

Oh - that looks like my kind of place; I could spend hours there. Love the sign about the light at the end of the tunnel; my kind of silly humour.

I am a little bit happy that the bookshop isn't near me. It would swallow my time and my wallet.
Save some candy for you and himself...

Old bookstores have such charm. It's like you're inside someone's home and are invited to browse a bit. That old camera is super! I just saw a man on one of CO's passes using that type of old camera. It really made me turn and look as we drove past! Hope your candy stash is enough. We never get trick or treaters - too far up the mountain and no street lights.

This looks like just my kind of bookstore! I could spend hours there. I love old bookstores with character, rather than the chain stores that are the same old same old and boring. Enjoyed this post!
