Gorgeous sky shot, lovely autumn colors and love the train station ~ Happy Weekend to you.artmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
Pretty shots of the sky and railway station, Denise! Have a great evening!
pretty blue in the last two!
Interesting sky view, and a historic site! Beautiful captures, Denise:)
Trains and train stations are very fascinating, so I enjoy your pictures. Some stations have been converted to malls and hotels (St. Louis, for example), and the setting is amazing.
Cool skies, and we love trains!Have a great day, DALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral =^..^= . <3 . >< } } (°>
Beautiful sky shots and nice architecture.
We loved our train excursion in Alaska.... am sure we'd love this -- beautiful station and the perfect blue sky and fluffy clouds are a lovely bonus.
I like the second picture the best, it is very pretty. I used to live quite near Mananas.
Great looking skies! The historic core of Manassas is a neat place. Wish it weren't surrounded by sprawl!
Great views, I like the first one, it's moody!
Great.Sydney – City and Suburbs
I also like capturing small and wonderful train station.Enjoying your shots, Denise.
Great skies and interesting history.
A nice sky to enjoy while walking through a nice town. I am sure I would enjoy a trip there.
nice sky shots
I really, really like the ambiance in these photos. Not to mention the deep blue in the sky...but your perspective and subject of the tracks and station just gives a great atmosphere Denise.
I like the long shot of the rails best! Nice skies!
stunning skies and i love old railroad stations.. my dad was born in Manassas but Manassas Georgia, not VA... his house was about 30 feet from the railroad tracks, don't know if wrong or right side LOL...
Very interesting history and beautiful photo shots to bring the story back to life.Just Fluttering Around
Beautiful skies, interesting with the trains and tracks.
I love photographing the sky... these are great photos!
The first time I saw this station,, probably about 1957, parts of Virginia including this station, looked pretty much like they had in the nineteenth century. I recently uncovered records showing one of my ancestors fought at Second Manassas. Love trains, love history. Thanks for sharing!
beautiful skies!! have a great weekend!!
Beautiful old train station under pretty skies! Love the old brick buildings along the track, too. xo Karen
Have been there...it has such a rich history! Nice photos, Denise! My hubby finally watched the D-Day special. I was very much moved (AGAIN!) as was he. I pointed you out, and Russell said "They are leaving her to get the luggage!" We also both commented on how lucid and young-seeming Gully is! You never told me if you saw the little boy on the beach holding the flag and saluting back toward the horizon while you were there.
