Such a lovely variety of colors in your flowers. My hubby attended a lecture today on planting and maintaining wild flowers.

The first photo is lovely with light filtering through. Nice to see what grows wild where you live.

A good time to visit. My Dad, with the CCC helped plant the trees that restored Skyline Drive. I love it.

Thanks for the pictures

Beautiful images. We call the white one a weed! I still like to see it every summer though.

Lovely, beautiful photos!

Denise, I am pleased you called them wildflowers instead of weeds. I do hate that word. It's a cracking picture of the moth (I think it's a moth) on the flower.

no regular care, growing in the woods and they flourish. it is amazing. i favor the purple one ;)

Beautiful wildflowers, and I just love the skipper, such a good angle of the front of its head. Their wings are not the most beautiful but their eyes and faces are so cute! The edges of its wing are backlit with a glow. So pretty!

Sometimes the prettiest flowers are those growing along the road in the wild.
