I thought I could see teasels, until I looked closer and saw that they were coneflowers. Aren't they a pretty colour.

Such beautiful Coneflowers! Shining like the sun. They are one of my absolute favourites in the garden. The bonus is all the butterflies and bumblebees that visits them:) Have a lovely weekend.

I love that first and last photo best! I so miss having pretty garden. (The grasshoppers have eaten everything, so when I go to Disney I swear that half of my photos are going to be of the flowers).

I always think that Black-eyed Susan is a wonderful descriptive name for that flower. I wonder where it originated? A spot of Googling I think?

My Echinacea (coneflowers) are also looking a bit sad. The Black-eyed Susan is the Maryland state flower.
