Oh MY, these are amazing!!! I love my macro, but cannot get shots like this! How close did you have you get? And you did not get stung or bitten? The pictures look like something from a T.V. nature show!

nice closeups of the bees

The green iridescent bee looks like the sweat bees I discovered in my yard this year. I just love skippers they are not the most beautiful butterflies but they make up for it in being super friendly, and having such big eyes!

These shots are outstanding! So clear so precise, I’d love to have a macro lens. Every time I get close with my camera the photo is blurred. Maybe someday I’ll buy a macro lens for my Nikon, but they are a bit expensive.

Fabulous macros! Such beautiful insects and flowers. And by the way, I plan to get after that horse photo with PhotoShop when I get a chance! :-)

Did you see the little boy who was in uniform, holding the American flag and saluting toward the landing there in Normandy? At first he spoke at the cemetery, and then when they said he couldn't go back, he stood on the beach like that for an hour and a hlaf. It was very moving. It's on youtube if you want to Google it.
