GOOD FENCES

Walking down the road in Gouville-sur-Mer, France, I came across this lovely gate.  The fence surrounded a house with a pretty garden.

This gate is so unusual and beautiful, a work of art. And we can get a tempting peek inside!

I think this meme should be renamed EXCELLENT fences.

Attractive as the gate is, it does bar access and restrict the view of what looks a wonderful garden, so I'm not sure if it's a good fence or a bad one!

I love gates (and doors) as well Denise and this is just lovely along with its garden.
Interesting gates, doors or fences around here are rather scarce! so I'll enjoy yours. :)

Beautiful wrought iron fence. Reminds me of Savannah GA, NOLA, and Charleston SC. The French Huguenot influence there, including wrought iron works, is huge.

What an intriguing gate, with the colorful garden beyond. It reminds me of The Secret Garden. I want to go in!

Love the three shots moving in closer and closer. Very clever.

I do like the pattern on the wrought iron gate. Iron fences, in general, are so attractive. These allow the passer-by to see the beautiful formal garden and still give security.
