SKYWATCH

Below you will find a mermaid at the entrance of Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia.  The day we were there the skies were threatening rain but we enjoyed our walk without a drop of liquid sunshine. 








There is a great blog at this link that show other mermaids situated around the city.

I especially love the 2nd photo where your mermaid looks about to fly off her pedestal. I envision her sitting on top of the spray of water.

We have had bits of liquid sunshine for about 4 or 5 days now...I am ready for the real sunshine to please stand up!

Oh, you have brought back some memories for me in a big way! How I miss all those wonderful mermaids all around Norfolk! And the Botanical Gardens was always a special place for us.

That is a lovely sculpture of the mermaid and very colorful, too.
You will never see such vast pastures in Hawaii as there are in North Dakota.
