SKYWATCH FRIDAY

This sculpture is a relatively recent addition to Meadowlark Gardens.  When we were there we lucked out again as the skies began to get rather dark and foreboding, but didn't start to rain until we were back at the visitor center where we made our exit.

My thanks to the SkyWatch Team, YogiSandy and Sylvia,  for hosting this wonderful meme.

It's quite unusual, but it seems to stand out well from the surroundings.

Do you think it's supposed to be anything, or just interpretive?

Does that sculpture have a name? To me it is a meeting of old friends so pleased to see each other after many years apart.
The picture as a whole is very beautiful and thank you for sharing it with us.

Does the name imply there is an abundance of meadowlarks? :) The sculpture is beautiful and I love the mood you captured of the sky. Wonderful pic!

Love the sculpture against the graying sky -- kind of makes you look again at the sky and notice that instead of gray it is silver!

Neat photo...I like the overcast sky, actually...it seems to go with the sculpture.
