Memorial Day

For all Veterans past and present, with never-ending gratitude for sacrifices made.  We owe you so very much!

In remembrance for all who served and protected us, and our grateful thanks for those who served and who serve their country now.

I will be wearing my poppy, a tradition that my parents passed down to me, as their parents passed down to them with the story of their full meaning.

I won't be doing any other posts until Monday.   May everyone have a safe and peaceful weekend with your  loved ones.

  2. Love your picture. I think instead of having their own day, they really need to be treated better, both medically and for job availability. I hope you have a beautiful weekend!

  15. Our two big memorial days are Anzac Day on 25th April to commemorate the landing at Gallipoli of Australian and New Zealand troops and the other really big day is 11th November which was of course the end of World War 1. On that day we remember all who served in all wars to help keep us free from tyranny.
Hope your weekend has gone well for you both.
