It seems as though I have been waiting for the daffodils to bloom for months, and a little while ago Gregg and I went to one of our favorite gardens especially to see what was blooming.  Here is what we saw.

Today's Flowers was created by our good friend Luiz Santilli, Jr.

  4. Ah the Daffodils. I saw an old man down on his hands and knees taking a close up of some daffs at Grenspring. A favorite of many Ithink. I planted dozens of miniature daffy the past few years and they are gorgeous. I love them even if they mostly stink. Dianne

  8. I wandered lonely as a Cloud
    That floats on high o'er Vales and Hills,
    When all at once I saw a crowd
    A host of dancing Daffodils;
    Along the Lake, beneath the trees,
    Ten thousand dancing in the breeze....

    Now I wonder how Wordsworth wrote such a beautiful poem about the daffodils..they are so beautiful..

  13. Regarding your comment at my blog, yes, it's the embassy in DC. And if you're around during the next inauguration, the embassy has for the last two inaugurations had Beavertails served up on those days.
