SKYWATCH FRIDAY

This week's photos are from our road trip last year.  We were driving through Arizona, and in the distance I saw what I thought was a smiling face looking up at all those clouds floating by.  It really was a phenomenal day for sky-watching.

I thought my eyes were playing tricks with me, but as we got closer I could see very clearly.

When a person smiles at me I find myself smiling back, even if it is a lovely mural painted on a building.  I could also see there were wolves on the side.

As we drove through that area we came across other buildings with different scenes on each wall.

The artist brought his old 'canvases' back to life with each brush stroke.

Those old buildings turned into real works of art, but my favorite will always be the smiling face looking up at that beautiful sky.

My thanks to the SkyWatch Team, YogiSandy and Sylvia,  for hosting this wonderful meme.

Happy SkyWatch Friday!

Simply gorgeous. And it has produced smiles many miles away today. I do hope the artist realises what magic he has created.

ROFL.....I didn't see the face at first. Then as we got closer and closer and closer the drama of it all was so exciting. I would say that this artist is THINKING WAY OUTSIDE THE BOX. What fun! Thank you for showing us your find.

The artwork is such a beautiful idea on those old buildings. I too would be enchanted with the smiling face looking skyward. Gorgeous, heavy cloud shapes in that first photo.

Terrific cloudscape. I can't imagine what it must be like to be the artist creating work in such remote locations in the hope that some passer-by will happen to notice it.

Heehee I enlarged the first picture to see the face a bit better.... only to find you'd done it for me. I should read the whole post first, methinks. It's brought a smile to MY face, thank you.

Hello Denise,
Your Blog Header is thoroughly beautiful, I was captivated, and had time to enjoy it even more while my internet connection finally said indicated it was ready to let me be here.
Those murals are a great idea, and beautifully done as well.
The smiling face looking up at the clouds, well there is one very definite Skywatcher.
Thank you heaps for visiting me, and your beautiful input, really did appreciate it. Not only are your Roses beautifully photographed, but your Blog is also enjoyable. Very pleased to have met you.

We could do with some of those clouds over Perth and surrounds right now. I love clouds as long as they don't bring thunderstorms with them.
Those murals on the building are wonderfully done and it would be great to have a smiling face greeting the sky each day, sunrise and sunset and all the rest of the beauty that Mother Nature brings to us.
