McKee's Botanical Garden, Vero Beach, Florida - Part 3

This is the third sculpture I am posting on the Seward Johnson Exhibit, entitled 'AThought to Consider'.  You can see the others here and here.  This work is inspired by the Edouard Manet painting, 'Dans la serre' (In the Conservatory).  You can see a copy of the painting here

I have just read that the exhibit ends on April 27th, 2014.  If you are in the area before then I highly recommend going.

Both Gregg and I have been taking photos of these sculptures.

  6. Awesome... I cannot get over how beautiful the sculptures are. Since it's an exhibit --and will soon be over, where do they go with those sculptures??? Wonder if they travel around the country???

    Hugs,

  15. I'm loving your photos of these sculptures, Denise. The man seems quite interested in the woman, but she seems to be in a daze. I'm wondering what she's thinking.
