A quote...

"This morning when I put on my underwear, I could hear the Fruit-Of-The-Loom guys laughing at me."
~Rodney Dangerfield~

  1. Hello Denise
I love those museums that have all the weird and wonderful true to life 'stuff' from years gone by. Displaying things as they would have been makes it all seem real - and makes us realise things might not have been so good in those days. There are times to say 'thank goodness' for modern conveniences (those too lol)
    Take care

  2. Very cute Denise, and the opening line "As soon as I put on my underwear this morning.....etc caught my attention immediately so there wasn't any doubt that I would pass your post by today!

  9. Now that is art, I think or is it merely laundry?

  10. I love this picture! My first thought was it tells a story. But really, I guess it tells a different story to each viewer. For me I imagine a crusty old wagon train cook who is living out his remaining days in the sunshine and all he has to worry about is clean underwear.

  17. That's a cute photo; it and the quote make me smile out loud!

When we were in London (an exotic place for some of us you know ;>)) I took a picture of laundry hanging out of the guards living quarters at the Tower of London. It remains one of my favorite pictures from that wonderful trip!

  18. So funny and a cute pic! I remember my grandmother putting clothes out on the line; they smelled so good. I'd love to do that today, but I'd be afraid of birds pooping on them! lol
