The Conservatory at the United States Botanic Garden in Washington DC

I took this photo last week when we visited the garden with my in-laws.  I also gave it a slightly artistic effect with the cartoon app that I have on my iPad.

Gregg saw what I had done last night, liked it so much he put it on his iPhone.  You can also make pencil sketches and others.  There are lots of photographic applications out there, and I am very happy with this particular one.  It's fun to play with but now playing is over and I must get on to other things.  Darn it!

  1. I must have cabin fever. Those flowers are so bright and cheery. Very windy yesterday and today is gloomy--not your typical Colorado sunshine and blue skies. I'd love to visit and see the water feature in person.♥♫

  8. I am finally using my laptop. I think my desktop computer has a virus, though I use Norton. As you can see, my laptop does not freeze, whereas my desktop does. Anyway, I love the photos of the birds and the garden. Splendid!

  16. I think I’m gonna live :-) Love this shot and your app work. I adore this botanical garden. When I was there a in July, the orchids were heavenly. Know you had a fabulous time there. It is oh, so pretty. We have had frozen pipes and now the pressure tank died...when it rains it pours...or when it’s windy and frigid everything falls apart.
