TODAY'S FLOWERS # 271

My flowers are from a morning walk in Strasbourg, France a few weeks ago.  They were in boxes lining the bridges going across the River Ill.  I will be sharing more photos on Strasbourg in a future post.

The link to Today's Flowers on the home page opens at 12.15 a.m. every Saturday, Eastern Time (US).  The old link will close the previous Thursday at 11.30 P.M.

Late summer flowers, so fitting for the time of year. I love Strasbourg with it's wonderful stained glass of all the guilds in the cathedral and wonderful bakeries not to mention the river. Thank you for awakening lovely memories.

HI Denise These shots are lovely. The feathery grasses compliment the red flowers.

I have beautiful red geraniums flowering in my garden right now along with some very pretty ones. They always brighten up anywhere they happen to be growing.

This morning, I found a collection of 'flower' photos taken hither, thither and yon over the years, so I will join you in a few weeks.

As for scanning…I bought my own digital scanner. Don't know how to turn slides into photos otherwise. Dianne

So lovely; what a wonderful side-trip while you were abroad! Hoping to get back to TF soon -- I've been collecting some (photographically) since we got back home. Still in awe of how much you were able to accomplish blogwise while on your earlier summer roadtrip. I'm still trying to catch up.
