Glass Sculptures at Norfolk Botanical Garden

The last time we were in Norfolk we visited their botanical garden.  They had the most wonderful glass sculptures placed in different areas called Reflections of Nature.  The sun was shining and it bounced off the sculptures and made them glisten.  Photos don't really do them justice, it's a sight you have to see for yourself.  If you are in the Norfolk area, the garden is a worthwhile visit.  We go whenever we have the opportunity, it is one of our favorites.  The glass sculptures were created by Craig Mitchell Smith.  I am not sure how long the exhibit will be on display.  Link to the garden is here.  You can also click and enlarge each photo to see better detail.

  1. Those are beautiful. It seems that glass sculptures are becoming more prevalent in gardens and that is a trend that I can support.

  13. Very nice, Denise. The colours are gorgeous and I particularly liked the bird in the blossom. Of course when you mention Norfolk I think of our own. Wouldn't it be great if we had something like that.
