NATURE NOTES

I am linking with Michelle's Nature Notes this week.  Thank you for hosting Michelle, I enjoy this lovely meme very much.

It was hard to spot it at first but the closer I got I realized I was looking at a green dragonfly.  This is the first time I have seen a green dragonfly.

Thanks to Steve over at Out on the Prairie, I have identified my green beauty as a Female Eastern Pondhawk.   Thank you Steve!
