This is such a lovely photo. It brings a smile to everybody who sees it... and that's what a garden grows too.
a lovely memory for the mind's eye

The only extras I get are weeds.
So true, lots of critters and pleasures for the and food for insects and birds and so much more.
Oh how true that is. My wild patch was bare until a few months ago and now there's all sorts of flowers etc growing there, none of which was planted by me.
So true, we need all the help we can get
Silly me, I accidentally deleted a comment from Grace at Grammie's Rambling, but I cut and paste her message onto this comment from the e-mail sent to me.Hi Denise ...Does that include weeds!! Lovely quote with a far deeper meaning!!Grace You can find Grammie's Rambling at:http://grammierambling.blogspot.com/Thank you for all your lovely comments everyone, and thank you Grace for yours.
All the unseen and sometimes unwanted things come to a garden. Mostly they are a delight to eye and ear . . . and nose:-)
Love the pretty garden, Denise! Great quote too! Have a happy weekend!
YES----the extra growth is called WEEDS.... ha ha ... AND our garden has alot of them in addition to what we planted... Hugs,Betsy
Gorgeous garden and sundial. And yes, MUCH more grows than is sown (particularly weeds).
A quote with strength, I love to listen to everything growing
