SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Whenever I take a walk on a bright, beautiful day, I halt my steps to look up past the trees and through the leaves to the sky above.  It has the most calming effect, I can feel my heart beat slow down and it is one of the many reasons why I love to walk through the woods.

The dappled sunlight on the path just adds to the magic, along with the sound of the birds singing, listening to water gently gurgling over the rocks in the nearby stream, and seeing that blue sky above.

I don't know how it can get any better than this.

How does it make you feel being out in the woods?

  8. Looks lovely - we've just had two and a half days of warm sunshine here but now it is wild wet and windy again.

  12. I love looking into a bright blue sunny sky through trees, and listening to good sounds. Here in London the sky is flat grey and it's cold and windy. thanks for transporting me momentarily to somewhere more congenial! :)

  14. Yes it does. And I like the touch of the gurgling stream nearby too. Your post has reminded me of the photo I did not take yesterday on my walk down the city streets looking at all the gardens. There was a gorgeous vision of looking up at the blue sky through the lavendar jacaranda blossoms and I didn't take it! Argh! Maybe next time. However, thank you for these lovely visions of green sunlit leaves from your own perambulations.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  15. I would have to say it is one of my favourite things to do is walk through the woods. Also it is a bit suspenseful as you just never know what animal will pop out for a photograph!
