Saving your pet with CPR

We had stopped in traffic and were behind this car when I took the photo.

A cute dog enjoying the fresh air.

I thought Sandy's blog post was such a good idea that I borrowed her graphic to spread the word. You can also see it at her blog, Kezzela2, if you click here, along with a very important message.

HI Denise.. Very good information to know for a dog owner, and like you said not something that you see much about!!
Thanks for posting!! I only have a cat now after many years of being a dog owner and I would think this would be good to know what to do in that situation!!
Cute doggy pictures : )

I have given mouth to mouth to a still born pup and we tried to revive it for quite a long time.

I had never thought about this, but of course if you can help a human with CPR it stands to reason you can help a pet. Thought provoking.

The poster is FABULOUS and hopefully available at many outlets. I believe lots of people would use the technique if the situation were to arise, but need educating on the technique!
I have administered CPR to a beloved working dog, all in a days work, but tragically in that instance he didn't make it.

What useful information. It never crossed my mind about doing CPR on a pet but it makes perfect sense now that I think of it.

Thank you for the visit everyone and wishing you all a great week.

people should not have dogs in the front seat. I´ve never seen that in Sweden.

Never fear, the dog was sitting in the back seat. It just looks like he was in the front but he wasn't.

Wow! That is so similar to saving a human being. I don't have a dog, but my son does. I'll need to mention this to him since Mungo does have epileptic fits and heaven knows what else.
