Memorial Day Weekend

Wishing you all a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.  My thanks to all Veterans, including my Father-in-Law whose photo I share here from today's visit to Arlington Cemetery.

(all photos were taken by husband Gregg and given permission to share by my Father-in-Law.  Thanks Gully!)

Here he is talking to the family of a captain of a ship he served on, a man who is one of the many now resting at Arlington.  There were services that they attended today in honor of Memorial Day.  He was asked by the son of the captain to tell his story to his children.  It was a very touching moment.

  16. Thanks to Gully and so many other men and women like him who have served in the military, as did Grenville. We have never visited Arlington, but it is on our "to do" list.
