Red-winged Blackbirds

I am linking to Anni's Bird D'Pot and also Stewart's Wild Bird Wednesday. You can find Anni here and Stewart here.

I had a fun time observing the birds at feeders during our road trip.  These were mainly Red-winged blackbirds and a few sparrows.

You can click here if you would like to find out more about them.

Nice photos of the redwings. We see them here, too. They nest in the reeds along our creek and come to the feeder sometimes, too.

These are fabulous! I love these birds. They look to me like they are wearing their college graduation robes.

Your banner delighted both me and my daughter. Thanks for your great blog.

I've always enjoyed the dramatic coloring on the redwing blackbirds. We used to see them all the time in the Midwest.
