A few more sights from our walk at Huntley Meadows a couple of weeks ago. We like to see the change of the seasons, and will be going back in about a month's time. What a great place to visit and photograph in ANY season.. Sometime--you'll have to show us similar pictures there in different seasons...

There were lots of geese on the day you visited. We didn't walk to the double deck when we were there.
The nature there is spectacular and you got amazing pictures of this special place!What a beautiful sunny day!

It's a beautiful place, no wonder you keep going back. So would I. The zigzag path was a feature on it's own.

I like the contrast between the large expanse of water and the close-up of the grasses and the seed pod case. The little bird is suitably marked to merge into the habitat. A lovely shot.
sincerely believe you are the one person on blogosphere who enjoys nature as much as I do ..I was so sad yesterday Cats brought the most beautiful little dead bird., the thought of him not flying gree upset me all day I'm not feeling well and that never helps..sk

Huntley Meadows looks like a great place to go for a walk with a camera.
This is so pretty, Denise. I especially love the walkway that keep people from contaminating the nature around them.
I just love these kind of places and it would be a great one to visit to notice the change of seasons. (Which is something we kind of manage to miss this time of year, as there isn't a lot of noticeable difference with winter/spring here). I'll be watching for yours.
I like the boardwalk too..the older we get, the more we appreciate those!
