Revisiting favorite photos....

I decided to share some of my favorite photos, some you may have seen before.  This one was taken at a Scottish Festival in 2009.  My favorite part of the festival was a demonstration of sheep herding.  I thought dog and sheep were tremendous!

To see the other photos I took at the demonstration you will find them here.

  1. Hi Denise, I love to see favorite photos... I usually do that after finishing a year --but haven't done it yet this year since I still have so many of my 2012 photos which haven't been published on the blog yet... ha ha

    Great picture of the sheep...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  11. Great picture, Denise. I love the way the dogs lie in wait. We watch One Man and his Dog on television which is all about sheep dogs controlling the sheep.

  16. I love all the television programmes of country life and especially the programme, One Man and His Dog. It's fascinating to see how the shepherd communicates with the sheepdog through calls and whistles so that the dog knows where to take the sheep and get them into a fold (in a competition
situation). Of course, we see them firsthand in Italy.
