A quote by Mary Oliver

"One morning the fox came down from the hill, glittering and confident, and didn't see me,  and I thought so this is the world.  I am not in it.  It is beautiful."

~Mary Oliver~

(I saw this painting at a place called Middleburg Common Grounds on Christmas Eve)

Interesting quote and painting. I know a Fox who is a whole lot cuter. I find that as we get old we become more invisible to people. They don't notice you in shops/stores and restaurants and serve everyone else first. They don't notice you on the footpath/sidewalk and they try to walk through you instead of around. It is always me that has to make way. Have you experienced this? So the world might be beautiful not to be seen in it but sometimes I would like to be noticed.
