Linking up with Anni's Bird D'Pot today - Mr. Crow arrived this morning....

Decided to link up to Anni's Bird D'Pot and to see other entries you can go here.

"It is not what you look at that matters, it is what you see."
~Henry David Thoreau~

Normally one crow arrives and you hear him up in the trees calling to his family.  They turn up shortly afterwards but not today, he was going solo.

  8. I never get to photograph Crows like that Denise. They are way to wary for me. Great quote by the way, I must try to remember that one.

  12. Y'know...in all my years of life I don't think I've ever seen one. I see grackles and vultures, but never any crows...OR ravens.

I'd love to see one in real time. GREAT photos Denise.

  14. These are wonderful captures Denise, he's certainly looking out for himself! I placed an egg on the top of a post once, when exiting the hen-house and I watched a crow take it so gently and fly quite a way with it and not break it.

  15. I guess he wanted to keep his prize to himself. :))

  24. Very nice shots of the crows. Their black plumage sometimes makes it difficult to capture the texture of their feathers, but these are great!

  25. I have spent the afternoon looking at my birds in the garden. I love the crow, nearest I can compete with him is a solitary Magpie who showed for a while but my piccies were rubbish so I am not sharing them. X Don
