Skywatch Friday: Season 6, Episode 11

It's been quite a while since I participated in Skywatch, but as I took a lot of photos of the sky last weekend at the air show in Virginia Beach, I thought I would join in again.

Many of the photos taken at the air show are from Gregg. We both had a great time clicking away.
These show the Black Diamond Jet Team, which is a seven-ship aerobatic civilian-owned jet team.  There are five L-39s and two Mig-17s, all painted in Arctic camouflage.

  13. Hi Denise. It is a long time since I was at an air show; you've got me longing to see one of these displays again. The nearest I get to one is when there is a royal salute by the Red Arrows. I do admire the pilots who fly together with such accuracy.
