Frogs

"Where there are no swamps, there are no frogs."
~German Proverb~

"If we can discover the meaning in the trilling of a frog, perhaps we might understand why it is for us not merely noise but a song of poetry and emotion."
~Adrian Forsythe~

A group of frogs is called an "army".

You're going to grown at this one.

What kind of shoes does a frog wear?
Ready for it?
Open-toad sandals!

  5. Lol...toadadly hilarious :)
I used to be addicted to frogs and toads when I was young, had tadpoles in jam jars all over the place.
My mum was terrified of them and reminds me so, still today !
Love the shots, they are most handsome gentlemen :)

  7. A hopping post for sure, Denise, but the one liners did make me "croak" a little. Of course, you know that we like frogs here at the F&P. By the way, I will be trying the pulled pork in the crockpot recipe this Sat when friends are coming over for dinner.

  8. Groan for sure, but croaking too. We don't have frogs and I would love to hear their songs on a summer evening. And maybe they would eat the mosquitoes that are already tormenting me.

  9. The frogs are cute:) I found a tiny one in my empty bird feeder before I refilled it. That was pretty weird.
