I have resumed scanning some old photos. I had to stop for a while because our printer decided to quit and it took us a while to get a new one. I am on the left holding the teddy bear who was my constant companion. My sister sits next to me and that's my Mum standing. The teddy I am holding is still with me even after all these years. You can read about him here.

Sweet picture! I still have my teddy bear, too, somewhere.
I love it!
What a neat photo. The teddy bear is too cute. I like these you put up.

I'll need to begin my scanning project again soon too. I just wanted a week to not be under pressure again. A printer? This means you're reprinting the photos? I guess I'm just scanning and filing them with notes embedded in the photo itself.
I love old photos so much
What a great picture, Denise... You were (are) a cutie... Love your teddy... I had a dolly named LuLu which I loved so much... Wish I still had her.
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
What a wonderful photo Denise, adn I was able to pick you out immediately !
Sweet little bear, my brother had a similar one, it had lost most of it's fur and only had one eye, but oooh was it loved :)

I love your picture and the wonderful story about your bear. I have a large collection of bears now, but I didn't have one as a child. I do have a couple old dolls, one of which has 3 faces, she has a hood and you turn a knob on her head and she is sleeping, laughing or crying....So glad that I still have her.

I KNEW you were just the sort of loyal friend a Teddy could count on, and love you all the more for it, D !

such sweet photo to have, you lucky girl.
Nice project you have that will give you hours of enjoyment.
Lovely memory, Denise. I scanned a few oldies but the scanner is no longer compatible with the new laptop. I do miss it. However, I've made better use of the iPhone by photographing photographs and emailing them to myself. What would I do without technology? The pictures (my dog) will be on show tomorrow.
It's precious to have special old photos like this one to help preserve the memories of times and people (and toys) past.
Very cute -- you seen to all resemble one another.
I love old family photos. Yours is wonderful.
Unique to have saved your teddy. We had a lot of kids, so many toys became others possessions through the years.
This family picture is a treasure, very beautiful and sweet!Adorable smiles! Thanks for sharing dear Denise,

Lovely picture!
It's always fun to,look back at old photos, they bring back so many memories. I still have my old teddy bear too :-)
I also particularly enjoyed your recent 'Rambles' post. It was so interesting and newsy. The blouse incident made me laugh :-) and I thought you did very well with the sketch. I was lucky enough to have an iPad for my birthday last July and I absolutely love it, some might say I am addicted to it ! I just find it so convenient and really love the 'virtual' keyboard, I find I can type so much faster on it than I can on my laptop and do all my blog comments on it. I do find it easier to do blog posts on the laptop though but perhaps that will improve in time.
What a wonderful old photo. And you still have teddy? Wow.
Thanks once again for leaving all your kind comments. I love reading them.
Oh, Denise, thank you so much for your kind thoughts concerning my recovery. All is going well. I truly adore this photo! How sweet to still have your teddy bear!
