I have been listening to the Blue Danube ever since I was a little girl and remember my Dad playing it on the piano. Dad was a great piano player. Little did I know way back then how much he sowed the seeds for my love of classical music today. I have a lot to thank my parents for.
I found this video on YouTube here.
A friend sent me a link to more lovely music, which includes the Blue Danube.

I shall be dancing all day to that wonderful music:-)
Lovely sound, Denise! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful day!
My Mum was an excellent player too. So many pieces of music remind me of Mum playing and me turning the pages.

Lovely music to start my day!
Brings me back to the fifth grade... I cannot remember why. :))
Just stopped by to say hello.
Lovely. I feel very entertained now. It wasn't my parents who led me into classical music - I can't actually remember if they even liked it. It was my aunt who took me under her wing. Music and gardening, she took me through both subjects until I got to like them...lol.
Denise, that was one of Dad's favorites that I played for him...thanks for bringing back the memory:)
That is lovely Denise, thanks for posting.
Wonderful Denise... you have brought back some wonderful childhood memories for me.
My dad was a piano player (I had lessons for about two years and still can't play a note) he could also play church organs.
He was only 44 when he died and I was 15.
I am writing this with a smile on my face.. many thanks for jogging my memory of a lovely time.
Hugs Drew.
Thank you. I have been enjoying reading your comments with a good old cuppa today. Have a great weekend.
