Guess Where I am?

Gregg and I are spending a long weekend in this city.  We arrived here around ten this evening.

It took us about four hours to drive here, the first part of that in rush-hour traffic and we took a break for dinner, but all that aside the journey went fast.  It is 167 miles from home.

The last two photos are the view from our hotel window.

Okay, a clue, it's called the City of Brotherly Love.  Friends in the United States will probably know.
Camera Critters and Today's Flowers is coming up next but I will be
sharing lots of pictures from here in the days ahead.

  2. That sounds like an exciting trip and I have no idea where it is! But it does not matter as long as you're having a good time!

  6. Awww....I thought Philly right off. I've been 'through there' at times but have never stopped to really see it yet. It's on my long agenda.

  15. I love Philly. I was born there and spent my young years there and still love to go back and visit family. It always feels like home to me and has become a more beautiful city recently.

Be sure to go to 9th and Washington Sts and have a Philly Cheesesteak for me.

  16. Oh, I wasn't going to be the spoiler but now the cat is out of the bag so to speak. I've never been there but I've always wanted to visit this historic city. It's on my list of places to go if I ever get to do a 50 states in 50 weeks tour!

  18. I thought of Philadelphia as it is about that far away from you but I don't recognise it as we only stopped for a few hours in the old town.

You must visit Elfreth's Alley. I loved it. Have fun.
