A little reminder that spring for us here in the northern hemisphere is not too far away. As I sometimes do when I feel the need, these beautiful spring flowers brought a little sunshine into our home. I stopped by the flower shop last Saturday and these pretties told me I needed to put them in my shopping basket. I obeyed!
Beautiful Spring is coming,
Ah, yes, will soon be here,
For the clear bright sun is shining
All human hearts to cheer.
One of the brightest gems of nature
Is the orb that o'er us shines,
And o'er the wide creation,
It'll shine to the end of time.

lovely! Flowers jump into my cart all of the time!
A joy. We try and have flowers in the house all year. Our own for preference, but flowers anyway.
And they do dive into the shopping basket. With the chocolate.

I've said it before and I say it again, Denise. You do take the most awesome, most amazing flower photos! They should all be framed and hung on all your walls.
I wish I could do that. Put a bunch of flowers in my basket but I would feel guilty for some unknown reason.Love the poem and the flowers.
A really beautiful bouquet! I bet they smell wonderful!

A lovely bouquet and photo!
Very pretty flowers, Denise! Glad they came home with you! Have a great week!
Beautiful flowers.
I especially like the second photo.
Regards and best wishes
These are so lovely. We live in southern New Mexico, and the daffodils are up and the fruit trees are blooming. I didn't even turn on the heat this morning. It's always hard for me to believe that Spring comes so early here, as I am from New England. However, with this year's crazy weather, the New Englanders are without snow and their Spring might not be far behind.
Wishing beautiful flowers to you, Denise, and thank you for visiting my blog!
