I love camellias. My mom put a different spin on it when we were in Japan. She told me that samurais looked at the flower as they did themselves... that they would have to fall and die at the height of their glory.... their beautiful, bright heads lying on the ground. Sheesh! Now every time I see the flowers on the ground I think of what she said.
Just a few weeks ago...? Lucky you, Denise! It's been too long since I visited a botanical garden, and your images bring on the craving. What a gorgeous tree of flowers, and the your macro shot even got the bee.

That looked like a pleasant walk down nature's path, Denise! How lucky for us to be able to enjoy it!
I thank you for my being a guest at TF today and making Luchie giddy with delight (it does not take much to make her happy) ;-)
I will try to return later when the TF links are up.

Hi There, We are home after a nice Thanksgiving Vacation... Hope you had a great Thanksgiving also.
Gorgeous flowers... It's that time of year here ---when we don't have much color. SO--it's fun to see yours!!!
Hugs,

Lovely blooms, Denise, and it looks like spring and not fall coming into winter.
This is so pretty and makes me long for Spring (a long way away). Have a nice week, we are so cold.
