It's been a while since I posted a squirrel portrait, and he was such a handsome chap I could not resist sharing him today.
I've decided it's time to put those peanuts back on my shopping list. When he heard he texted his 4,000 relatives.
They will all be stopping by sometime during this winter.
I had better buy stock in that peanut company.

When we were trapping chipmunks to relocate them in Illinois, we kept getting squirrels in the traps also. We let them loose since them don't dig tunnels in the yard. The amazing thing is, the squirrels eventually learned how to somehow get into the trap, take the nut and leave. They are really smaaaart... as well as being handsome.

I love his face, he is beautiful. This is a young squirrel. Feed him well, look out for his well-being and you shall make a wonderful friend.
